iBuyback Terms and Conditions:
1. INTRODUCTION1.1. We are pleased to welcome you to the iBuyback application (the iBuyBack App). Before using the iBuyback App, we suggest you to read our terms and conditions to understand your rights and obligations while using this iBuyback App.
1.2. By using and accessing the IBuyback App, we assume that you have read, understand and agree to our terms and conditions.
1.3 These terms and conditions are subject to changes at any time without prior notice solely at the discretion of iBuyBack. The modified terms and conditions are effective immediately upon publication.
1.4 We recommend you to review our terms and conditions frequently to be aware of any modifications or changes made. If you do not agree to the new terms and conditions, in whole or in part, you are advised to discontinue using this iBuyBack App.
1.5 By continue to access and using the iBuyBack App after any changes and/or updates made to the terms and conditions, you understand, accept and agree to those changes and/or updates
2. LIMITED LICENSE TO USE
2.1 iBuyBack has granted you a non-transferable, limited and revocable license to install and use the iBuyBack App and our services in accordance to our terms and conditions.
3. SOFTWARE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
3.1. All intellectual property rights whether registered or not, shall be the property of IBuyback.
3.2. Intellectual property including but not limited to copyright, trademarks, patents and industrial design of the app and all content including but not limited to logos, images, text, layout, graphics, software compilations, colour, the underlying source code and software;
3.3. You understand and agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to drive the source code, techniques, processes, algorithms, know-how or other information from the binary code portions of the software (collectively called "reverse engineering") or permit or induce the preceding.
4. ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY
4.1. In order to use the iBuyBack App, new users are required to register an account by providing certain personal information such as their full name, contact number, address, date of birth, email and etc.
4.2 You confirm and agree that all the information you provided in your registration for an iBuyBack account is correct and accurate.
4.3. The passwords for the iBuyBack accounts need to be kept confidential at all times by the users.
4.4. Users shall be responsible for their own iBuyBack accounts. The iBuyBack Team shall not be responsible for any loss or damage caused by unauthorized use of your iBuyBack account and password.
5. USER'S RESPONSIBILITY
5.1. The user shall be responsible to ensure that all personal information, details and images posted or uploaded on the iBuyback App are correct and accurate.
5.2 The user affirms and guarantees that any information posted on the iBuyback App is accurate and truthful and that user shall not upload any information which threatens nation's security or that is seditious, libellous, immoral, indecent, obnoxious or otherwise violates any laws and regulations.
6. IBUYBACK RECYCLE SYSTEM
6.1 Users need to go to any location of the iBuyback's recycle campaign (please refer to the schedule of campaign in the MBKS website or the iBuyback App) and bring their recyclable items which should have been properly packed to be weighed by the iBuyback Team.
6.2 IBuyback shall reward users with recycle points in accordance with the type of the recyclable items as specified in the recycle catalogue on the iBuyback App. However, the allocation of the recycle points in the recycle catalogue are not fix and subject to any changes by the iBuyback Team at any time without prior notice.
6.3 The recycle points shall be automatically credited into the user's account after the iBuyback Team has weighed the recyclable items. All recycle points obtained via the iBuyback App are strictly non-transferable and non-saleable.
7. IBUYBACK REWARD SYSTEM
7.1 Accumulated recycle points can be used to redeem gifts provided in the redemption catalogue (subject to availability). The allocation of the recycle points for redemption of gifts in the redemption catalogue are not fix and subject to any changes by the iBuyback Team at any time without prior notice.
7.2 For redemption of gifts, users have to go to any location of the iBuyback's recycle campaign (please refer to the schedule of campaign in the MBKS website or the iBuyback App) where the iBuyback Team will help the users by scanning users' QR code. The recycle points will be deducted from the user's account once the transaction is successful and the user has collected his/her selected gift.
7.3 We advise users to inspect the condition of their chosen gift before leaving the campaign location as the gifts are non-exchangeable and non-replaceable. IBuyback Team shall not be held liable for loss and damage of the gifts after they have been given to the users.
7.4 All redemption of gifts made are final and conclusive.
8. IBUYBACK RESPONSIBILITIES
8.1. iBuyback affirms and guarantees that any information posted on the iBuyback App is accurate and truthful and that it will not upload any information which threatens nation's security or that is seditious, libellous, immoral, indecent, obnoxious or otherwise violates any laws and regulations.
9. GOVERNING LAW
9.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
